Susan Lafer is Co-Chair of the Hadassah Nurses and Allied Health Professionals Council. She is the Past President of Hadassah Florida Central, and prior to that was the Organization Vice President and Fundraising Vice President. She is also a Past President of the Tampa Ameet Chapter. Susan is a retired nurse and has worked in a variety of fields of medicine. She worked in hospital nursing for many years, as well as a school nurse in a school for physically and mentally challenged children. She has experience working in infertility, geriatric nursing, private duty (specializing in total hip replacement) and hospice administration.
