Thank you to all the Hadassah Chapters that participated in the 2017 Own a Night of Hanukkah initiative. The many miracles of Hadassah shone as Members/Associates enjoyed the holiday and friends. We highlight one such event held by the Sharon Group, Southern CA Metro Area, which Co-President Dina Lane describes as a small but "mighty" group, fortunate to have many amazing women who DO!

On December 19, the Sharon Group held a Hanukkah Tea Party, complete with latkes and trimmings, special guest speakers, gifts for all attendees, and fundraising opportunities including the Hadassah On-line Savings & Travel Platforms (HOST). Hanukkah motif slippers and aprons as well as festive decorations set the tone. Congratulations to Sharon Group for surpassing their fundraising and membership goals. Special thanks to the Hosts/Chairs of the event, Yvonne Cheney and Simon Saul, who were “angels,” underwriting the event expenses.

Sharon Group owned a “Night” of Hanukkah at their luncheon and did it their way. The efforts of all those involved brought joy in their community and the opportunity for more Hadassah miracles.
