The world feels terribly broken right now. Take comfort that at Hadassah we are doing our part in tikkun olam (repairing the world). As our recently released Statement on Racial Justice affirmed, "Hadassah stands in solidarity with communities of color and with all those from Jewish and other communities denouncing instances of police brutality and all aspects of systemic racism."
Moreover, last week, the Never Again Education Act was signed into law, thanks to the tireless efforts of our Hadassah community. This important legislation combats antisemitism through education, and in so doing teaches young people about the terrible consequences of bigotry, hate and discrimination — something of urgent importance in our current moment. We can all take pride that this important legislation will help pave the way for a better future.
Here are more ways you can find healing this week, including a beautiful song from Israel.
