Wednesday, May 13 2020

We are reaching out with exciting news. Earlier today, the US Senate joined the US House in approving the Never Again Education Act. We can officially say that this bill is headed to the White House.

This is a major victory. Your support for the Never Again Education Act is helping to change the course of history.

America is closer than ever to ensuring we will never forget the tragedy of the Holocaust, that students will learn its universal lessons of tolerance, and that educators will be better prepared to teach this absolutely critical subject matter accurately and confidently. Our children and future generations deserve nothing less.

We are grateful to everyone in our Hadassah family who believed in the importance of this legislation from day one. We called you to action and you delivered. You wrote letters, you made phone calls and you rallied your friends on social media to urge Congress to act. You sent a strong and clear message that bigotry and hatred have no place in our society.

We are nearing the finish line. The day this bill is signed into law is drawing nearer. And we are confident that we will reach that day very soon.

This vote wouldn't have happened without you. Thanks to your relentless advocacy, we are one step closer to changing the course of history. Please join us in celebrating this tremendous achievement in Hadassah's advocacy efforts.
