February Is Heart Health Month. Be a part of the solution!

At Hadassah, we're committed to saving lives and advancing women's heart health in the US, Israel and around the world. With your help, our research, prevention programs and advocacy efforts will help more women live longer, healthier lives.

Together, we can make an even bigger impact.

Five Ways to be a Catalyst for Women's Heart Health

Support Women's Heart Research & Innovation at Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO)

Our groundbreaking medical research, innovative treatment protocols and diverse community outreach are redefining women's cardiac care in Israel, the US, and around the world. At HMO's Linda Joy Pollin Cardiovascular Wellness Center for Women and its Heart Institute, pioneering HMO doctors have significantly altered our understanding of male-female differences in heart health and are forging ahead with new protocols that will save more women's lives. Hadassah is leading the way. Help us do more.

Eat Healthier with Every Bite Counts: Hadassah's Nutrition Program

Join the push for heart health with Every Bite Counts: Hadassah's Nutrition Program (EBCHNP). Our new EBCHNP food guru Shannon Sarna will be writing a monthly food column, featuring innovative recipes, cooking videos, practical tips and heart healthy cooking. Your community can create its own fun events — food trucks, chef demos, and cook-offs — both locally and online. Together, we'll help women stay healthy across the generations.

Wear Hadassah Red

Have fun as you spread awareness about women and heart disease. On Friday, February 3, take a selfie of yourself: Wear Hadassah Red — lipstick! scarf! hat! — or do something red for Shabbat — red wine! beet salad! red napkins! Then share your selfie with your social networks.
Don't forgert the #hashtags!

Be a Hadassah Advocate for Gender Equity in Medicine

We're proud to build on our legacy as a leading advocate for women's health. In the US, we advocate for gender equity in medicine — in research, diagnosis, treatment, and access to care — including in heart health. With our 21 partners in the Coalition for Women's Health Equity, which we founded in 2016, we have our voices heard. Speak out with us. It's easy to become a Hadassah advocate. We'll provide all the tools you need to take action online, advocate in person with your local legislators at a Day in the District, and keep up with new policy developments.
