A year and a half ago, a young father of nine managed to escape an attack from three terrorists. In appreciation for this gift of life, he just donated a kidney to save the life of a patient at Hadassah Hospital. The fortunate recipient is Benny, a 35-year-old chemist at the Hebrew University. Transplant surgeons Hadar Merhav and Abed Khalaileh performed the life-saving operation.

Hadassah Speedily Vaccinates Its Staff Against COVID-19As of January 11, out of the 6,500 individuals who work at the Hadassah Medical Organization, 4,800 had received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and 1,000 had received the second dose.
