Hadassah regularly unravels the mysteries of the heart — from breakthrough medical research to promoting heart-healthy lifestyles. Hadassah Medical Organization is researching cardiac stem cells and their ability to repair damage to the heart muscle. HMO is implementing innovative cardiac trauma care, instrumental in saving numerous lives. Hadassah also has taught us to sspot the differences in heart attack symptoms between genders, the importance of daily exercise and now introduces us to the importance of healthy eating. Below are all the heart-related tools your units need to create an effective program that inspires members to support this important work.

Neurodegenerative diseases, among them multiple sclerosis (MS), are among the most devastating to the patient and the family. Hadassah Medical Organization is working hard on the front lines researching stem cell therapy and how this protocol can halt the progression of these horrific diseases. HMO researchers are having considerable success in part due to your support. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer and one of the most preventable. Hadassah Medical Organization is pursuing advances in immunotherapy, a treatment based on creating a vaccine using the body’s own immune system. This connection was discovered at Hadassah Medical Organization through research supported by you. HMO is now working on researching more genetic connections and outreaching to women throughout Israel so they can know about lifesaving early detection.
