As Election Day 2020 approaches, let's not take our democracy for granted.

Wednesday, Sep 23 2020

"How do we not take democracy for granted? By getting out the vote in November's general election and all other elections. By making sure that we, as Americans, each vote, and by helping others ensure their votes are counted as well. In fact, we should view voting not as a right, but as a moral and civic obligation." Read this powerful article on the importance of voting from Hadassah Executive Director/CEO Janice Weinman, of particular urgency as Election Day 2020 approaches.

Hadassah's commitment to civic engagement takes on even greater resonance as we mourn the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We can honor Justice Ginsburg’s legacy as a champion of justice and equality by joining a national movement to get out the women’s vote through #HadassahVotes. Find out how you can participate below and other ways you can engage with our Hadassah community.
