From our President

Merle and Deana large

Welcome to the Nashville Chapter Website!

Our chapter has close to 700 members of all ages. Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc., is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to the land, people, and the future of Israel. Through education. advocacy, and youth development, and its support of medical care and research at Hadassah Medical Organization, Hadassah enhances the health and lives of people in Israel, the United States and around the world. We encourage you to visit : www.Hadassah.org to learn more about what we do.

Locally, our Board of Directors has over 15 members. We meet monthly to plan activities and discuss how we can keep our membership engaged. We hold one or two events each month which are open to every local member. In this special time, our activities have shifted online. We communicate monthly by email to let our members know what is happening. Also, we recognize those who have contributed to Hadassah by the purchasing certificates or trees to commemorate various milestones. Each year we host one major fundraiser or “Donor”. In 2020, we will have a no-show event to contribute badly needed funds to Hadassah Hospital for treatment and medical research. Check this website again for coming events.

We have a subgroup of women under age 52 who are involved in “Evolve.” They plan and organize special activities for this younger demographic. Of course, these ladies may participate in any of the chapter activities as well. For more information, contact: erin.d.coleman@gmail.com.

If you are not already a Hadassah member, or if you have moved to Nashville from another chapter, we encourage you to contact our membership chairs who will be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Please contact one of these ladies to receive our monthly eblast, “Hadassah Happenings.” Sarah Motis Ruden spm5222@gmail.com or BarbaraOlsher@gmail.com.

We are happy to answers questions, accept praise or constructive criticism. Please let us know how we can help.
