1. Privacy Philosophy and Information We Collect

Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America, Inc. (“Hadassah”) believes that electronic privacy is crucial to the ongoing success of the Internet as a service, and as a commercial and entertainment medium, and therefore uses its reasonable efforts to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. We and our hosting providers encrypt credit card (billing) information whenever credit card information is requested online. The personal information we receive from our Website is accessible only by staff and volunteers designated to handle that information for business purposes of The Hadassah Entities or by vendors who have signed agreements with confidentiality obligations. Such information is used for our business purposes and as we may otherwise be directed by you (e.g., to process a donation, to receive additional information about a Program, or to transmit e-mail correspondence to individuals outside Hadassah). Hadassah may share information with its affiliates, including without limitation, Hadassah Medical Relief Association, Inc., The Hadassah Foundation, Inc. and each of their respective affiliates, related entities, and the local units of Hadassah (collectively and together with Hadassah, "The Hadassah Entities"). The Hadassah Entities do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We care about the safety and security of your transaction. We and our hosting service providers use high grade encryption to communicate with your browser software.
