Gil Troy, a self-identified Hadassah Zionist, is a Professor of History at McGill University and a Shalom Hartman Engaging Israel Research Fellow in Jerusalem. Gil received his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University, where he taught history and literature for two years.
