What is it about Hadassah that resonates with you?
The fact about Hadassah that resonates with me is that it is a people-to-people organization that helps and heals. It is incredible that two nurses paved the way for modern healthcare in Palestine.

How did you get involved with Hadassah?
Growing up in a Zionist home and having a mother and several great aunts as active members, it was the natural course of events that began with junior Hadassah. Then, as a young and married Jewish community activist, leadership roles and life membership followed.

Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a daughter, sister, mother to three, grandmother to seven, world traveler and nurse. My life is made up of many people and many roads!

As a nurse, what do you find most inspiring about Hadassah’s efforts?
The first Gulf War brought me face to face with Hadassah, and I gave back by volunteering as an operating room nurse at Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus. Nurses are the heart of Hadassah, and I am inspired by being able to reach out to all people that depend upon the compassionate care that has made Hadassah a leader in delivering modern healthcare in the middle east.
