What is it about Hadassah that resonates with you?
Hadassah's groundbreaking medical research and commitment to improving women's health really resonates with me.

How did you get involved with Hadassah?
My passion for being involved in Hadassah is from my love for Israel and pride of being part of such an amazing organization. My mom was a life member of Hadassah. I followed in her footsteps from the beginning. I have been involved with many organizations such as Sisterhood, the JCC & Federation. I am in my third year as president of my chapter and we have wonderful programs that educate our members, raise funds and have a good time while doing it.

Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up in New York with both of my parents being very involved in our synagogue until they couldn't be anymore. I was working on the surgical floor at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, CT, where I met my future husband. He was an surgical resident from Israel who trained in France. His residency then took us to Long Island Jewish Hospital, then to University of Florida for plastic surgery. We have lived in Palm Harbor, FL, for 34 years and have three daughters and four grandchildren. I worked for my husband as his recovery room nurse for many years.

As a nurse, what do you find most inspiring about Hadassah’s efforts?
As both a nurse and a Jew, my pride of what is being done by Hadassah in Israel and the US is overwhelming. I am so moved by all that Hadassah nurses have achieved in Israel in the past 100 years.
