Career and Family
I grew-up in Woodmere, NY. My husband and I have been married for just shy of 30 years, during which time we have moved seven times. We think we’ll stay put for a while. Back in the day, I worked in advertising and corporate marketing production until moving to the UK, where I was blessed with three wonderful children, now in their 20s. Upon return to the States I remained a stay-at-home mom, devoting my time to my family and volunteering in the PTA in Westport, CT, and holding leadership positions in the PTO in the Village of Indian Hill, OH, as well as serving on the IH Schools Foundation Board. I have also been involved in women’s social groups; The Welcomer Club of Indian Hill, and was treasurer of the Newcomer’s Club in Lake Forest, IL, where I also did some marketing for the local LWV.

How did you get involved with Hadassah?
I am grateful to my dear friend Sally Kleinman, who gifted me a Hadassah membership when I moved back to Connecticut last year. I have since become a life member as well as a Chai Society member.
 
What is it about Hadassah that resonates with you?
I love being part of a group where I feel a true kinship to the other members. I am inspired by the work that Hadassah does. I am most interested in working with the advocacy group, and doing my part to support their mission, and being one of the Women Who DO. I have gifted my two daughters Hadassah e-memberships, which is a brilliant way for millennials to be connected.
 
Share something you would like people to know about you.
I have a passion for learning, and believe that you’re never too old to learn. I take courses in a variety of disciplines. I do genealogical research for my family, telling my parents whom their respective great-grandparents were has been one of my biggest joys. I love reading, beading, Pilates, living by the beach, and taking walks with my dog. I would say that I love golf, but it does not love me back, not yet.
