What is it about Hadassah that resonates with you?
I love that Hadassah finds ways for every woman to get involved and get empowered to help others.

How did you get involved with Hadassah?
My mother-in-law made me a life member after I got married and became involved with my local chapter. I developed an award-winning health program for Lylah Chapter where we had speakers monthly on various health topics. I marched in Washington, DC, and went to many events.

Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a registered nurse since 1994, and received my certification as a CCM, a certified case manager, in 2011 I have my own business working primarily with disabled adults and older adults, helping them with medication and medical management. I also supplement my income as a contractor for workers compensation injuries; I help injured workers navigate the health care system. I believe in mind, body, and spirit, and strive to help all individuals I work with to be as independent as possible and have quality of life.

As a nurse, what do you find most inspiring about Hadassah’s efforts?
I am impressed with their program for women relating to heart disease and breast cancer to help women in the USA stay healthy. I like that there are many social opportunities to meet other like-minded women as well as nurses like myself.
