Career and Family
Technically, I’m a stay-at-home mom. My husband has his own business as an analyst for the supply chain/logistics world. So, I like to say that I’m the logistics manager for our family of six! I also am the director of client relations for his company.

I do a lot of volunteer work -- at my children's’ school, at our temple, for Hadassah and for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

I have four children -- two girls and two boys, ages 16, 14, 11, and 9. 

My oldest daughter has Type 1 diabetes. I have become very involved with fundraising for JDRF. They do amazing research for not only a cure for Type 1, but also for ways to make living with Type 1 easier.

How did you get involved with Hadassah?
My mother and my sister inspired me to get involved with and join Hadassah. Hadassah's incredible research with diabetes also moved me to become a life member.

What is it about Hadassah that resonates with you?
I love that Hadassah is this amazing organization for Israel, about Israel, in Israel. But the best part is that it was started and continues to be run by women -- really smart, inspirational women!

Share something you would like people to know about you.
I am training for my second marathon as a teen mentor for Dreamfar -- a high school marathon group. We will be running the Providence Marathon on May 7. In addition, I am training for my third sprint triathlon to raise money for JDRF.
