What is it about Hadassah that resonates with you?
I am a feminist and healthcare provider who is dedicated to providing care to patients, particularly the underserved. Furthermore, I strive to be a mover and a shaker, getting involved in advocacy and improving quality of care. I feel a connection to the people of Israel; I support the health of this community, as well as the surrounding communities.

How did you get involved with Hadassah?
I first got involved with Hadassah when I gave a talk about transgender health for a Nashoba Valley chapter event. As a nurse practitioner in family medicine, we integrate transgender care into our practice, and I provide hormonal replacement therapy to this population.

Tell us a little about yourself.
I graduated from the Yale School of Nursing in 2013. I have been practicing as a family nurse practitioner at Fenway Health, a community health center dedicated to serving the LGBT community, since 2015. My clinical interests include family medicine, HIV care, women’s health, and transgender care. During my free time, you can find me adventuring locally or internationally. I am actually writing this from Madrid, Spain. I enjoy hiking, cooking, painting, bicycling, and yoga.

As a nurse, what do you find most inspiring about Hadassah’s efforts?
I am inspired by Hadassah’s efforts to connect healthcare professionals internationally, and develop and apply evidence-based medicine to combat varying acute and chronic medical issues.
